Working in collaborative way is required today because of globalization. Automations in business applications today also need collaboration because of some boundaries. If this is not present, it might lead to loss of productivity. Composition refers to a way of delivering enterprise solutions by assembling them from prebuilt components, instead of building them from scratch. A composite application is a collection of software assets that have been assembled to provide a business capability. It can be compared to mashups. However these composite applications use business sources of information, while mashups usually rely on web-based and often free sources. Building an application by combining multiple existing functions can lead into a new application.
