Lebron is free agent this summer, will he stay in Cavs?

"Over the past two years, there have been dozens of twists and turns in the LeBron James free-agency saga, most of them small events that have been magnified by the size of the stage.

As the Cavaliers prepare for the start of playoffs in the last year of James' contract, there still remains uncertainty about his future. Despite reports to the contrary on both sides of the issue dating back a year, trusted sources close to James say there has not been a decision fully reached. As of now, he plans to become a free agent and listen to pitches come July 1.

However, as the Cavs finish off the best record in the NBA for a second consecutive year and James prepares to win his second Most Valuable Player Award, something is indeed happening.

After being mostly neutral and downright noncommittal for some time, those closest to James have been altering their view recently. The vibe being sent out from James' camp -- whether it is private conversations or discussions about new business or plans for the near future -- is that James currently is leaning strongly toward re-signing with the Cavs.

That may sound vague and, as always, it continues to be fragile. Yet there is no denying the gradual shift within James' circle and, it is assumed, by James himself."

King and Flash might not play world championships, why risk?

Lebron James might not play for team USA this coming summer for the upcoming World Championships in Turkey. This is because of his impending free agency and a very busy schedules. Together with him, Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat might not also play.

Any player who skips prior USA Basketball commitments “without a legit issue, they do it with an understanding of the risk,” Jerry Colangelo said.

“Everyone in the United States of America understands the commitment these guys have made, including myself, since 2003,” James said. “I’m not trying to bash Jerry because he’s a good guy and I really respect him. But if he came out and said that, I don’t respect that because of the commitment we’ve given to the United States with a three-year commitment off the bat. We didn’t second-guess it at all. So if we are jeopardizing the opportunity to be on the team in London, I mean, what can we do? What can we do?”

Lebron honors Jordan by changing his jersey no.23 to 6

LeBron James is serious about honoring Michael Jordan's No. 23 after all. James hit Wednesday's deadline to apply to the NBA to change his uniform number from 23 to 6, according to the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.

"I've done it," James told the paper. "I already sent it in. I'm going to be No. 6."

James first floated the idea in November, saying he wanted to switch from 23 out of respect for Jordan. James would want to wear 6, the number he wore while leading the U.S. to Olympic gold in Beijing in 2008.

The last big-name player to change numbers without changing teams was Kobe Bryant, who switched from 8 to 24 in 2006. Kobe's new jersey quickly became the league's top seller.

MVP for Lebron again? Quite Possible.

Forget the free agency, the biggest thing for Lebron right now is not only the championship trophy but also getting the MVP award for the second time. His stats proves it all, 29.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 8.6 assists with 50.3 field goal %.

Beside from bringing the Cavaliers in playoffs, James also brought himself into games where he could just sit around and watch his teammates play against other team because of a sure place in the playoffs.

Like most other players, Lebron prefers to get the most prestigious award which is the championship trophy which he failed to get last season. He and the Cavaliers where beaten by Dwight Howard and Magic in the Eastern Conference Finals. But with his hard work, Lebron was given a consolation prize which is the Most Valuable Player award. Now he wants to get both of the awards which is quite possible.

Idea for Lebron starring in his new film

The film entitled "Fantasy Basketball Camp" will be produced by Brian Grazer. The Idea for James starring in the comedy originally came from Grazer and his 8 year old son's desire to meet the player.
The film will center on five guys who go to Vegas to live out their fantasy by attending the Lebron James Adult Basketball Camp. While it should be enough that these dreamers get to breathe the same oxygen as their hero, the campers drag James into their various life issues, ranging from serious to idiotic.
